Criança Esperança is a brazilian social project that began in 1986, promoted by Rede Globo, initially in partnership with UNICEF, with the goal of improve the lives of needy children in Brazil. This project thats began like a tribute for the 20 years of ''Os Trapalhões", won large dimension and already helped more than four million children and adolescents in Brazil.
This campaing has an annual show, broadcast by Rede Globo, and involves various actors, journalists, singers and presenters. In this show happen the donations, which can ben either through the internet on the telephone.
Today this project is in partnership with UNESCO. Has earned more than 200 million reais in donations, supports 64 social projects and thus benefits more than 33 000 children directly. For all this, the project is one of the most successful brands related to social programs targeted to needy children in all the World.
